In our first interview with the client, a young doctor with a clearly defined and intense taste for music, books and travelling, we realized that this project was going to be a special one.

We had the feeling that to set the entire construction on the ground was not the right answer for his lifestyle, so we invited him to live separated from the ground, at the level of the top of the trees. This way, we could also make the most of the panoramic views provided by the place.

The special feature of this construction is the bedroom volume which, at a great height, changes the orientation from the main perspective focusing on the geographic milestone which “El Mordisco” represents in La Barrosa Mountain.

The use of exposed concrete and aluminum frames was ideal for someone who likes to travel so much and for reducing to a minimum the house maintenance.
