We were asked to develop the project of a family house on a corner lot with a considerable slope, surrounded by hills and beautiful sights in the city of Tandil.

The vehicular and pedestrian accesses were set in the high part of the land to then descend towards the search for sights.

When we descend we reach a yard of great dimensions which is sheltered from the southern winds by the living-dining room and laterally by the service area (kitchen-dining room, laundry room, laundry drying yard, toilette and machine room). Protected by the northern sun, we enter the house. This yard allows us to locate the more private activities away from the street. Through the living-dining room, we can enter to the en suite master bedroom and descend to the girls bedrooms or go out to the partially covered gallery which occupies all the width and through which you get to the pool. The water and the mountains as background are the recurrent landscape.

The materials we used were rustic: trunks of wood from the area and brick tiles for the roof, textured plaster for walls, red ceramic tiles for the floors, stone for chimneys and outdoor yards. For windows and doors, we chose a system with high technological benefits: white PVC carpentry with laminated double glazing.

From the private and public areas, the views invade those who visit and inhabit the house.
